Looking for some travel inspiration in 2017? TrustYou took a look at some of Europe’s most popular cities and identified the most underrated hotels. According to traveler reviews, these are the hotels worth checking out on the next trip to Rome, Madrid or Paris!
The list is based on a mix of the TrustScore, a scoring system that TrustYou has created for hotels based on more than 100 categories, and hotel popularity. TrustYou analyzed only hotels with reviews in the past 24 months and identified less popular hotels as those with review counts lower than 10% of the threshold.
Based on verified review data, TrustYou identified the following as the best, underrated hotels across Europe:

TrustYou’s data is displayed on industry leading travel websites such as Google, KAYAK and Hotel.com. This online hotel review data that has been aggregated and analyzed from over 200 sources across the web. In total, TrustYou reviews more than 3 million online reviews each week.
The list is a second sequel in the company’s series of hidden gem hotels, The Most Underrated Hotels in the U.S, and was compiled using data from some of the most traveled cities in Europe including Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and London. The findings revealed that one third of hotels in each city acquired an excellent score underlining the outstanding hotel quality in Europe’s most favourite travel destinations.
