The appreciation of a comfortable and restful sleep definitely makes an impact on guests.”
“India’s top ten rooms, which are all five star and above, scored 89 to 94 per cent in satisfaction reviews by travellers, which I think shows that this country is extremely accomplished at creating a high standard of opulence and luxury.”
The top ten rooms are situated in popular destinations of historical significance such as Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur, which also attract many international visitors. Indian travellers also travel to destinations like Shimla, Coorg, Kabini and Cochin which are popular domestic travel destinations, were also included in the top ten rooms list.
The Indian Hotels with Top beds are: Jaipur Marriott Hotel; The Westin Pune Koregaon Park; The Oberoi Bangalore; The Oberoi; The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace; bloomrooms @ New Delhi Railway st; Optus Sarovar Premiere Gurgaon; Hotel Ratan Vilas; Oberoi Hotel New Delhi; bloomrooms @Link rd.
Fernandez added, “It appears that corporate travellers also enjoy a touch of luxury, with properties in Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi featuring on the top rooms list, all typically popular for business trips. What’s also interesting is that the hotels listed for the best service in the country are often selected by domestic travellers for weekend or short getaways.”
