Expedia launch Holiday Value Index tool:

Expedia’s Holiday Value Index is a new tool which analyses average hotel and flight prices, cost of living data, and exchange rates from 50 of the world’s most popular holiday destinations. The index refreshes daily with flight and hotel data, providing users with indicative average prices based on travel from three UK departure airports (MAN, LHR, LGW) and weekly stays in 3* and 4* hotels. Plus, it’s easy to use: the tool allows users to filter destinations by their preferred holiday type (beach or city) and month of travel. This returns a list of destinations rated by average spending costs (from cheapest to most expensive).
