Guests’ Favorite Hotels in NY, LA, Chicago, Houston & Philly
With the holidays upon us, people are traveling more. Naturally, the holidays bring a frenzy of activity and less time for research. That’s where we come it. TrustYou has the highest-rated hotels in top USA cities based on guest feedback. Yes, we have it here. Our latest findings include a snapshot of top hotels in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia that takes online reviews and feedback from fellow travelers as the ranking system. Or as we call it, the TrustScore, the world’s first, independent score representing all online opinions around the world. For each city, we’ve created two lists – one for luxury/upper-upscale (four- and five-star) hotels and another for mid-scale (typically three-star) accommodations.
Key Findings:
Great location drives satisfaction for both the luxury and mid-scale winners in most of the cities. The grounds, building and service also help to push these hotels to the top.
Chicago's luxury hotels top the charts, with an average score of 95 (out of 100). Guests give the highest scores to the prime location of these hotels but are very positive about all other aspects of their hotel experience, including the service, grounds, food, room, and even Internet.
The luxury hotel leaders across each market are: Hotel Elysee in New York, the Four Seasons Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, the Waldorf Astoria in Chicago, the Hotel Icon in Houston and the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia. The Waldorf Astoria in Chicago boasts the highest TrustScore of all hotels in the report (97.63).
The mid-scale winners are: the Chelsea Lodge in New York, the Elan Hotel in Los Angeles, the Springhill Suites Downtown River North in Chicago, the Crowne Plaza Sugar Land Suites in Houston and the Burbridge St. B&B in Philadelphia.
